This Privacy Policy explains what information Word Rush collects, how it is used, and the choices available to players. Word Rush includes the Word Hunt and Anagrams game modes, multiplayer matches, Daily Challenges, Free Play, profiles, friends, leaderboards, achievements, notifications, and related features.
Account information. When you create an account, we process your email address, account identifier, username, display name, and authentication information. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not stored in the Word Rush application database in readable form.
Profile information. If you choose to provide it, we store your profile image, profile colour, cosmetics, display preferences, and other profile customizations.
Gameplay information. We store information needed to operate and verify the game, such as matches, scores, submitted words, boards or racks associated with rounds, Daily Challenge results, Free Play progress, achievements, series results, and synchronized practice history.
Social and safety information. We store friend and block relationships and post-game chat messages when you use those features. If you submit a safety report, we store the report reason, optional notes, the accounts involved, and—when you report a chat message—a snapshot of that reported message so it can be reviewed.
Notification information. If you enable notifications, we store the device or browser push subscription information needed to deliver them, along with notification-related preferences and timezone information used for Daily Challenge notifications.
Technical information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process ordinary connection, security, and diagnostic information such as IP addresses, request logs, device/browser information, and error information when providing the service.
We use information to create and secure accounts; run and validate gameplay; show profiles, leaderboards and results; provide friends, multiplayer and chat; synchronize eligible progress; deliver requested notifications; review safety reports; detect abuse or cheating; troubleshoot problems; and maintain the safety and reliability of Word Rush.
Your username, display name, profile presentation, achievements, and certain game statistics may be visible to other signed-in players through player-facing features. The main Score, Best Words, and Achievement leaderboards are limited to you and your accepted friends. Match participants can see results and submitted words made available by the results system. Players who complete the same Daily Challenge can view Daily standings and result details made available after completion. Post-game chat is intended to be visible only to players in that match. Private practice history is not placed on the main competitive leaderboards.
Word Rush uses Supabase for services including authentication, database hosting, server functions, and related infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf to operate the service. We do not sell your personal information.
We keep account and gameplay information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Word Rush and maintain the integrity and security of the service. You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Account & Safety → Delete Account. Account deletion removes access to the account and initiates deletion of associated Word Rush account data. Safety reports and limited related evidence may be retained when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce the Community Guidelines, prevent fraud or repeat misconduct, resolve disputes, comply with law, or protect users. Limited copies may also remain temporarily in infrastructure backups.
Practice history stored only on your device is also cleared for the deleted account by the current Word Rush client. Browser or operating-system data outside Word Rush's control may require clearing through your device settings.
You can choose whether to upload a profile image, enable push notifications, use social features, or synchronize eligible practice history. You can disable notifications through Word Rush or your browser/device settings. You may delete your account at any time using the in-product deletion control.
Word Rush should only be used in accordance with the age and consent requirements that apply in your location. We do not knowingly seek to collect more personal information from children than is necessary to provide the service.
We may update this policy as Word Rush changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
